Listen to the birds chirping, the gentle roar of the sea in the background and the sounds of life and happiness in this fantastic area. Feel the calmness settle in your body and notice how the house is completely secluded and shielded by nature. Challenge the family and take a walk down to Denmark's oldest mini golf course or spend a whole day on the fantastic beach, where the water is lovely and the sand is completely white. End the day at the restaurant 'Trekanten', which is located right down to the beach. Here you can enjoy authentic Italian pizzas and fantastic gelato.
Just five minutes away from the cottage is Fru Møllers Mølleri, which everyone should experience. It is an absolutely fantastic place that has a farm shop, slaughterhouse, restaurant and ice cream parlor. It doesn't get any more delicious - or local. You can even take the kids to the stables to see the cows, pigs and goats. A true paradise for any family with children.

We are Malika and Morten. We live in lovely Skanderborg and both work in Aarhus. For several years we had been looking for a holiday home in the fantastic holiday village, Saksild, where we have come all our lives. All of a sudden in 2021, the perfect cottage appeared, and we were completely sold. The location of the cottage is in our eyes nothing short of fantastic. It is close to everything we want to be close to. Denmark's best white sandy beach (200m), restaurants, waffle house and beach shop for shopping (500m), and not least Denmark's oldest mini golf course (100m). The house is cozy and the garden invites for games and play. We enjoy spending a lot of time in our lovely cottage, which fortunately is only a half hour drive away from our home in Skanderborg.
Since we took over the house, we have continuously renovated both inside and outside and after the summer vacation we will start the project "wellness terrace", which will contain an outdoor shower, small spa and extra annex opposite the existing one.

The vacation home is very well equipped and is located in a quiet residential area near a nice quiet stretch of beach.
It was as beautiful as described, it just looks a bit "outdated" or not quite as neat as in the photos.
It also exudes a scent that we couldn't place, but which we somehow managed to get used to over time - and after regular airing. The not-so-fresh mattresses also took some getting used to.
Nevertheless, we can recommend the house and also spent a very nice week here with great excursions in the surrounding area such as Legoland Billund or the Kategratcenter in Grenaa and we also enjoyed our own large garden playing badminton with the children.
In the immediate vicinity of the house there is a small (but nice) miniature golf course with restaurants, a little further on is a lively beach area with a playground, snack bars (very tasty), public toilets, a large parking lot and a tourist store. The nearest large supermarket is about 10 minutes away by car.
