The outdoor area impresses with its fenced garden, which offers security for the little ones and four-legged friends. The southwest-facing terrace invites you to barbecue in the evening sun and end the day in a green setting.
In the surrounding area, the thatched-roof village of Sieseby is waiting to be explored, while the sandy beach of Damp invites you to sunbathe and enjoy the sound of the sea. Cultural delights can be found in Kappeln or Arnis - including the best fish sandwiches far and wide.

Hey, we are Karen & Alexander and the proud hosts of this vacation home in the small village of Guckelsby, idyllically situated on the Schlei, a beautiful Baltic Sea fjord in the north of Schleswig-Holstein. For us and our children it is our favorite place where we have already spent many carefree vacations. We have put a lot of energy and heart and soul into renovating our old cowshed to create a magical atmosphere for you to relax in. We hope you will enjoy your time here as much as we always do.

The house is very idyllically situated on the edge of an old farm community with its own garden and a terrace where you can be all to yourself.
Everything is available, from a barbecue to good deckchairs. The "henhouse" is very well equipped and offers every comfort. You can cook very well, all utensils and large refrigerators are available and eat centrally at a nice table inside, as well as outside on the terrace (downstairs).
There is very good mosquito protection and if you keep the patio door closed in the evening, the living area remains mosquito-free. In each room there is a window protected with a fly screen so that you can ventilate well.
Unfortunately, the path to the Schlei was blocked for us due to flooding at the end, but otherwise the area is very pleasant, a neighbor even gave us a carton of eggs from her chickens.
