There is plenty to discover in the surrounding area: Take a day trip to Öland, also explore the historic harbor towns of Kalmar and Karlskrona, or visit the glass kingdom near Växjö. The bathing lake and the coast in Bergkvara offer bathing fun. For families with children, there is Astrid Lindgren's children's paradise in Vimmerby and nature lovers can look forward to mushroom hikes.
