Stua, the main cabin on the site, was renovated in 2023. With an open living room and kitchen, a cozy dining table and a warming wood-burning stove, you'll feel right at home. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two family bunks. Total accommodation for 8 people, maximum recommended for 6 adults.
The stable, a charming micro-cabin, offers a cozy living area with kitchen, a comfortable sofa. Sleeping space in the loft, with 2 x 120 cm mattresses of good quality. Here it is possible for up to 4 people to sleep if you are good friends, the sofa can be converted into sleeping space for two people
The space has an inviting patio with a dining area and gas grill. Here you can enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning views. It's a short walk to Follsjø beach, which is well adapted for children, and there's a separate swimming area right by the water.
Husmannsplassen is an excellent starting point for exploring both Telemark and the Kongsberg area. Take a hike around Bolkesjø, Notodden and Telemark, or try your hand at cross-country skiing or downhill skiing in the area. Fishing in Follsjø is also a possibility, with trout, char and perch.
There is no running water in the cabins themselves, a new bathroom with shower and toilet is in the barn, as well as a kitchenette for washing up. The storehouse is used as an annex, where there is a good double bed and sofa bed that can be used during the summer months.
Ski in / ski out: Cross-country ski trails right outside the cabin.
Ski resorts nearby: approx. 34 min to Kongsberg Skisenter and approx. 52 min to Blefjellheisen.

Hi, I'm Anne and I will be your host during your stay.
I can offer you different equipment that you can borrow or rent by appointment. This includes a boat with a motor, a canoe, life jackets, fishing rods, hammocks, berry pickers, sledges and toboggan boards, as well as equipment for ice fishing. If you're traveling with small children, I also have a travel cot and baby chair available.
The sauna can be booked on request, as well as bedding & towels. Please let us know in advance if this is desired :)

You are free to cancel bookings within 48 hours after receiving a booking confirmation or until 30 days before the agreed time of arrival for a full refund. Until 14 days before the agreed time of arrival, you can cancel for a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 14 days before the agreed time of arrival you will not be refunded.
