Welcome to this place: `Husmannsplassen´ at Follsjø! Here you can sit down, take a deep breath and enjoy the peace of nature. The site consists of several cabins: Stua, Stallen and stabburet, a barn and a sauna in the old pig house, which provides a unique and authentic experience.

Stua, the main cabin on the site, was renovated in 2023. With an open living room and kitchen, cozy dining table and a warming wood-burning stove, you'll feel right at home. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two family bunks. Total accommodation for 8 people, maximum recommended for 6 adults.

The stable, a charming micro-cabin, offers a cozy living area with kitchen, a comfortable sofa. Sleeping space in the loft, with 2 x 120 cm mattresses of good quality. Here it is possible for up to 4 people to sleep if you are good friends, the sofa can be converted into sleeping space for two people

The pitch has an inviting patio with a dining area and gas barbecue. Here you can enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning views. It's a short walk to Follsjø beach, which is well-suited to children, and there's a separate swimming area right by the water.

Husmannsplassen is an excellent starting point for exploring both Telemark and the Kongsberg area. Take a hike around Bolkesjø, Notodden and Telemark, or try your hand at cross-country skiing or downhill skiing in the area. Fishing in Follsjø is also an option, with trout, char and perch.

There is no running water in the cabins themselves, but there is a new bathroom with shower and toilet in the barn, as well as a kitchenette for washing up. The storehouse is used as an annex, with a good double bed and sofa bed that can be used during the summer months.

Ski in / ski out: Cross-country ski trails right outside the cabin.
