In the house, you'll find two cozy rooms and a family room that invites you to spend time together in front of the wood-burning stove. In the fully equipped yellow kitchen, you can prepare fish from the local fishmonger in Vorupør while enjoying the view of the enclosed garden. You can also cook in the outdoor kitchen on the terrace or cook over the fire pit.
The house is 3 km from the sea, where you can hop on a surfboard or take long walks along the coast. If you're keen to try SUP for the first time, you can head to nearby Førby Lake, and if you're more comfortable on land, there are kilometers of hiking in the hilly landscape of National Park Thy, which is an impressive relic from the Ice Age.

My name is Rasmus and I work as a graphic designer. I used to live in Nørrebro in Copenhagen, but I chose to move to Thy after buying the summer house in May 2021. I live in the cottage on a daily basis and I'm especially attracted to the unique nature and surfing environment here in Vorupør. I love to travel and experience, and I enjoy welcoming guests to my house when they visit the area.
I think nature and the sea sell themselves out here. You can go to the water and surf or just experience the many surfers who hit the waves every day. Thy National Park is also very special. Everywhere you go, you're surrounded by the raw, hilly dune landscape, and there's plenty of opportunity to see cranes, red deer and sea eagles if you're interested in wildlife like me.
