The first thing you enter is a small light green vestibule that leads you into a large hall in the same color. There are high panels, a chandelier and a beautiful old staircase to the first floor. In the lovely conservatory, you can enjoy the ocean view with a glass of wine in hand or a good book. In the cottage's living room, the whole family can cozy up by the fireplace, in front of the TV, around a game or in the small cozy corner with wicker furniture and skins. In the new kitchen family room, you can enjoy the day's meals when the weather is not suitable for sitting out on the terrace.
On the first floor there are 3 rooms, each with its own color, decorated with recycled finds and in the 'blue room', the sea view can be admired. Between the first and second floor there is an orangery, furnished with wicker furniture, where you can enjoy the evening sun (outside the hot summer days).
In the basement there is a room with everything from high chairs, bathtub, changing table, outdoor games, etc. and a room with washing machine and dryer.
From the cottage's front garden, you can enjoy the sea view, and there are rose beds with roses dating back to the house's origin in 1924. The forest frames the garden on both sides, and there are sun loungers, tables and benches so you can enjoy both food and sun. In the back garden is the terrace, which is sunny most of the day and is furnished with a round table and chairs. A few steps down is another terrace with shelter and shade under the old fruit trees, where roses, clematis, wisteria and a large old hydrangea bloom.

The sea view from the cottage's front garden with rose beds dating back to the house's origins in 1924.
The child-friendly beach is close by, where you can catch crabs and enjoy walks along the water's edge.
The two nice terraces in the backyard where there is sun, shade and shelter.
We are Asbjørn, Ditte and our 4 children.
On a daily basis, we run a farm near the summer house. We bought the house in the summer of 2020, after a long search for the right house for us. After only one viewing, we knew it had to be ours. The house is renovated and decorated the way we like it best, with old details and reuse. Much of the house is original, and we have added a few necessary changes, like our beautiful kitchen family room.
In addition to the history of the house, we also fell in love with the great location. It takes 1 min to walk to the beach, where we often enjoy swimming, catching crabs with the kids, walking along the water or in the woods. The garden is large and the kids love to climb, swing, lie in hammocks, investigate beetles, play ball etc.
There are also plenty of opportunities to go on adventure tours. We often visit Universe, an adventure park on the northern part of the island, have a picnic along the coast or go to Sønderborg Castle for a delicious ice cream. Just 7 km away you can take the ferry and enjoy a day on Ærø.
In 2 hours by car you can reach Hamburg - a wildly exciting city.

Very good, the house is wonderfully and lovingly designed. The view of the Baltic Sea is fantastic and the wild garden invites you to linger.
