Just off the island of Fehmarn, at the tip of the Bay of Lübeck, you will find an idyllic landscape. While you put your feet in the soft sand on one of the many beautiful beaches, the sea breeze blows around your nose and immediately puts you in the vacation mood. Here, just a short walk from the Baltic Sea, are the two thatched-roof houses.
There is room for 4 people in each of the two houses; with a baby crib provided, there is room for an additional small child in each house. Since they are two individual houses, which are next to each other, you can enjoy a lot of privacy, but are still close enough to each other, if you want to spend time together.
The design and furnishings of both houses will make you dream of the sea: white elements, decorations reminiscent of a beach day and thatched roofs create a unique feel-good atmosphere. Each house has its own kitchen, living area with seating and a dining table both inside and on the terrace. In the large garden the children can romp while you prepare dinner on the electric grill.

The area offers a variety of experiences for young and old: Take a boat out to sea and catch your own fish for dinner, or visit nearby Fehmarn and have the freshest fish prepared in excellent restaurants. Beautiful swimming spots and beaches are just a short walk away. If you want to bring your four-legged friend, you will also find several dog beaches and quiet walking paths in the area.

We, Quirine, Björn, Ingrid and Alexander, are two married couples and prefer to spend our vacations by the sea. We often travel with family friends; that's why we bought two thatched-roof houses on the Baltic Sea right next to each other a few years ago and furnished them comfortably. For us, the houses have the perfect location: they are close enough to each other, but at the same time offer enough privacy when we want to retreat. When we are there ourselves, we especially enjoy the proximity to the beach, which is within walking distance, go fishing or sailing, and eat delicious fish sandwiches in Großenbrode.
