The garden is full of cozy little nooks and crannies where adults can enjoy a glass of wine on one of the many benches and children can play treasure hunt, cave or swing. The garden is completely fenced in, so children can explore and adventure in the wild garden with strawberry paths and scrub without the adults having to worry about them running away. In spring there are wild garlic in the garden, and as we move into summer there are also rhubarb and raspberries. All year round there's oregano, thyme and of course rosemary. We always have homemade rosemary syrup in stock for drinks and desserts.
Without a doubt, the Rosemary House invites you to experience all the good things that cottage life has to offer. You can go to bed with the window ajar and listen to the sound of the waves, and first thing in the morning you can light the wood-burning stove and take your coffee into the garden. Let the peace and quiet settle in.

Both children and adults feel their shoulders drop a few extra centimeters when we arrive at Rosmarinhuset. We are two families with children who share our oasis away from Nørrebro and Copenhagen. The youngest resident is 4 years old and the oldest is 40, and our place offers activities for both of them and everyone in between.
Here we enjoy the tranquility of the garden, mornings on the sofa playing cards and afternoons on the beach, at the harbor or on a trip to the magnificent nature and world heritage site, Stevns Klint.
We enjoy the fact that the beach is only five minutes away, Boesdal Limestone Quarry with UNESCO visitor center, Stevns Cold War Museum and not least Rødvig fishing port. Here you'll find Denmark's best fish cakes and great cold ice cream. Rødvig Ferieby has a rabbit playground, and at Faxe Geomuseum, you can look for fossils in the limestone quarry. We also like to go on boat trips from the harbor and of course flea hunting in Store Heddinge.
