This charming cottage is practically on the water's edge at Bredetved Strand - in fact, it only takes a few steps from stepping out onto the terrace of the cottage before you have the jetty under your feet and a refreshing dip in store. The cottage is one of only a few located on this part of the coast facing the part of the Isefjord called Inderbredning. Here you will find a very special tranquility that encourages presence, contemplation and time together.

Sunrises over the fjord can be enjoyed on the terrace, where the wide steps and a soft cushion make a perfect place to sit and wake up with the first cup of coffee of the day at hand. Afterwards, you can enjoy life at the water's edge, catch crabs, look for small fish and explore the reeds, or move inside for some cozy hours in the living room, which is aesthetically and harmoniously decorated with flea market finds, natural materials, a wood-burning stove and a nice bay window with windows that let the light in.

The beautiful orangery is a chapter in itself. Even on chilly days, there is a cozy nook here where you can enjoy the view of both sky and water through the glass. Here you can eat the day's meals, take a nap under a blanket, read a good book, and enjoy a quiet evening after a lovely and memorable day in the cottage and the beautiful surrounding nature.

We are a family of four - two adults and two children - and our little dog. We live in Østerbro, only 45 minutes drive from Bredetved Strand, where we have our lovely summer house. We have had the cottage for 10 years and have along the way put a lot of love and work into making it the beautiful place it is today. We have built a terrace, a jetty and most recently an orangery, where there is plenty of space to eat, read, play, take a nap or just enjoy the view.

We spend a lot of time in the cottage and especially enjoy the amazing nature that surrounds it. The house is situated high with a unique view of the water. On either side there are forests where there are countless varied and beautiful walks, viewpoints and mountain bike trails. We catch crabs from the jetty, swim, stand on paddleboards and enjoy the idyllic silence at Bredetved Strand. There is a good bike ride along the water to cozy Holbæk. We also like to visit the cooperative village Nyvang, where you are transported back in time. Here we have spent many good hours with the children.

This is truly a wonderful house in an even more wonderful location. What a view! The house and the orangery make you feel right at home. Superbly decorated and a handy kitchen. Everything has been thought of, from beautiful coffee cups to delightful interior design books. The outdoor areas are also fantastic! The deck around the house allows you to enjoy the view and the sun from early morning until late at night. And then there's the jetty and small terrace by the water. The garden is very spacious with trees and flowers. There are lovely spots everywhere. We also made use of the canoe and SUP. All in all, highly recommended!
