We are a family of five who have this cottage as a retreat from everyday life. We are closer together in the cottage, and the cottage's sea view and design allow us to slow down. The cottage invites you to cosy moments in the kitchen or with snobrød near the fire.
We also love to be active in nature near our cottage. We can work out on the terrace, and the kids can dance or beat the windmills there, and then we hike, run or cycle in the terrain, which is so hilly that the Tour de France had a stage here.
Our beloved local beach is a mix of pebbles and sand, and we can walk to it in about 15 minutes. If we want a sandy beach, we drive to Høve Strand. Here Lillero also has a bar, lounge, restaurant and glamping. We also like to drive the 15 kilometres or so from the cottage to Havnsø to play mini golf, have a coffee at Mormors Kaffebar or get fish from the good fish shop. If we want to catch crabs, we drive to Rørvig Harbour in the summer.
