Enjoy the salty breeze of the North Sea in wild Thy National Park

At the end of a blind road, just before the gravel road becomes the small path that leads through the dunes to the wonderful and changeable Vesterhavet, lies this lovely little cottage. Here you are in the middle of Thy National Park and right on the edge of the sea, where the roaring waves attract surfers from near and far to the area also known as Cold Hawaii.

In the bright living room you can let the cosy cottage life unfold with board game tournaments around the dining table, long naps on the sofa and lovely moments around the crackling fire in the wood stove when the wind rushes in from the coast. The light wood panelling on the walls and ceiling plays nicely with the light coming in through the windows, and the decor is charming and simple with a touch of sailing and the sea.

On warm, sunny summer days, there are plenty of lovely nooks on the terraces around the cottage. Curl up in a sun lounger and enjoy the scent of heather and grass from the large natural grounds. Take the short walk through the dunes to the water for a refreshing dip - perhaps in the warm glow of the sunset? Or take a trip to the impressive sea bath in Nørre Vorupør, try your hand at the wind and waves on a surfboard, or go for long, brisk walks in the wild nature of National Park Thy, which you are in the middle of.
