In the 1200 square metre garden you can both experience the cold thrill of the cold water tub and be warmed through in the sauna barrel. Take a stroll to the child-friendly beach, just a 5-minute walk from the cottage, and when you get home, fire up the stainless steel barbecue with a table top, giving you plenty of workspace to cook up the tastiest barbecue. Serve on the terrace, which also has a cover if the weather isn't conducive to sitting directly under the open sky.

We are a family of five, consisting of Natasha, Daniel, our daughters Liva and Ida and Wilma the cotton dog. We bought our lovely cottage a bit impulsively in the spring of 2021. The Chestnut Cottage, as we have dubbed the cottage, was the only cottage we went to view and it was love at first sight.
The Chestnut Cottage is our home away from home. Silence, idyll and birdsong on a large green 1200 sqm unspoilt plot. Here we can be completely ourselves. We love to be just us as much as we love to have many guests in the summer. The summer house invites you to cosy up on our lovely wooden terrace, around the fireplace, in the sauna or in front of the wood stove.
There is plenty to do in the cottage, but we also love to visit Oremandsgaard Estate, where on the 1st of every month they hold a Farmers Market with local produce. Here you will also find Radius Distillery, selling unique spirits.
It's definitely also worth visiting Muldiverset, which sells and serves biodynamic and organic produce. And of course, Præstø Town is a must-see, as it's just so cosy.
