The 12,000 square foot overgrown community garden is the highlight of this place. With its natural swimming pond, lounge chairs, and small seating areas, you're sure to find your favorite spot. In the evening you can sit in the glass pavilion and maybe even watch deer or herons at the small river Schaale.
The surrounding area offers many opportunities for exploration. Make trips to the nearby lake landscape around the biosphere reserve Schaalsee. Enjoy hour-long walks in this natural paradise and discover secluded swimming bays. For hiking and nature observation, a trip to the Elbe valley floodplains is recommended.

Hello, we are Heike & Achim. We came to this little village in West Mecklenburg 12 years ago by chance and we spontaneously fell in love. Only a good hour away from Hamburg, we find ourselves in a completely different world here. Cobblestone streets, meadows and forests, peace and quiet and a nice village community - we really appreciate all of this about our home. Our large garden with the natural swimming pond, old fruit trees and flower meadows is a wonderful place to relax. We hope that you will also feel as comfortable here as we do.
