In idyllic East Frisia, famous for its love of tea, use of the Low German language and its distinctive sense of humor, is the vacation home of Wiebke and Manfred. Originally built in 1750 as a colonial goods store, Wiebke and Manfred's vacation home has been renovated with great attention to detail. A high-quality renovation took place in 2010/2011, followed by another renovation in 2022, preserving the historic character with the original store furnishings.
On the first floor of the vacation home, a spacious living and dining area awaits you, flooded with natural daylight. Here you can enjoy not only at the dining table, but also from the comfortable sofa corner a magnificent view of the extensive garden. Lovingly selected, partly antique furniture give the living room an unmistakable charm. Here you can make yourself comfortable even in rainy weather with a cup of East Frisian tea and an exciting crime novel. A wood-burning stove provides a warm and cozy atmosphere.
In the bedroom, in addition to a double bed (160x200cm), there is an alcove (120x200cm), which a carpenter has recreated according to an original model and which offers not only a cozy cave for children, but also a great place to sleep. The generous equipment of all rooms, the high technical standard as well as the spacious garden with seating facilities ensure that you can spend your vacation here comfortably and contemporary.
The idyllic location of the house allows you and your family to breathe easy and spend a relaxing time in nature, far away from tourism. For excursions, the picturesque East Frisia has to offer not only the endless coastlines, the characteristic windmills and the traditional tea rooms, but also a variety of cultural events.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you’re bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

The vacation home is very special, as it used to be a colonial goods store and has been extensively restored.
It therefore has a special charm and is beautifully furnished and very well equipped.
The terrace and garden are also very inviting.
There are some nice places and cycling routes in the surrounding area.
