Finnish log cabin in idyllic garden with water view
Brodersby
Up to 4 guests
1 bedroom
The Schlei runs from the Baltic Sea through rolling hills, green meadows and fields and is one of the most beautiful water landscapes in all of Germany. For water sports fans, the area is definitely exciting, because you can swim, surf and sail so wonderfully well here. But the east of Schleswig-Holstein is also perfect for nature enthusiasts who enjoy walking through lush, green landscapes.
Inken and Tomas' house is located in a small village right on the Schlei River, with a beautiful view of the water.
The Finnish wooden house from the 1970s has been lovingly renovated and furnished and is an absolute must for all people who love the special and creative. In the small, well-equipped kitchen-cum-living room, amateur cooks will be happy, you can enjoy being together at the inviting dining table and then make yourself comfortable by the fireplace.
From the house you have a view of the beautiful garden, you can catch the sun on one of the two terraces or make yourself really comfortable late in the evening at the fire bowl on the covered porch overlooking the water.
Three guests can be accommodated here in two bedrooms and be inspired by the idyll of nature. The bathing beach is not far away, there are also bicycles in the house, which invite you to bike tours in the beautiful surroundings.

Highlights from Thomas
Host since February 2023
- The furnishings are very special: unique pieces, flea market finds and favorite objects from Scandinavia
- The large, well-kept and lovingly landscaped garden surrounding the house
- The dreamy view of the water, which invites you to relax
We are Inken and Thomas, both come from Hamburg and have realized a dream with this vacation home on the Schlei.
We bought the Honka log house in 2019 and renovated and designed it with a lot of love, paying special attention to aesthetics and personality. We are both design enthusiasts, work in our own lighting design office and have set no limits to our creativity in the house.
We share a great love of Scandinavia, and every piece in our home is a unique piece chosen with love, often design classics found in Denmark or auction finds. We wanted to create a space that encourages relaxation and creative expression, and that works really well in the house with a lake view. The large, green garden is Inken's heart's project - lovingly tended and with great awareness, she has created a real oasis of well-being here. We are also passionate hosts and are very happy to welcome creative and tranquility-seeking guests in our little vacation paradise.
