The cottage is lovely at all times of the year. In summer, the large enclosed terrace can be enjoyed for breakfast, lounging in a sun lounger, playing in the sandpit and firing up the barbecue in the evening. When fall starts to creep in, the large common room with wood-burning stove, living room and kitchen is a great gathering place for games, movies and books.
The cottage has been lovingly and sustainably renovated and is now personally decorated in a light Nordic, cozy style. There are three bedrooms and plenty of space with high ceilings in the large common room. The rooms can accommodate up to five overnight guests - or six people if you want to snuggle up in the narrowest of the beds. The large windows facing the terrace let in plenty of light and nature.

We are two generations living in Sønderborg who have bought this summer house together to create a gathering place for our family. We love nature, cooking, reading, knitting, and exploring Fanø. We fell head over heels for the summer house the first time we saw it, and before that we had been coming to Fanø for many years for the knitting festival.
Regardless of the weather, we always take a long walk on the beach, go on trips to one of the many plantations, and visit Sønderho and Nordby. We love shopping for food at the small local shops or eating at one of the good restaurants. The summer house is a 10-minute walk from Sønderho, one of Fanø's most charming places, where there is a small art museum, several good restaurants, and a small local grocery store.
