Welcome to a beautiful sanctuary in the middle of nature, where you can enjoy stunning views of the sea and the hilly sand dunes. Here we are surrounded by rich bird and animal life, sparkling starry skies and sometimes the Northern Lights. The large windows with sliding doors bring nature right in, giving you peace and space for contemplation. It's about 10 min. walk along a gravel or nature trail for a walk in the waves, whether it's a winter dip or an evening swim in the sunset.
The newly built cottage has year-round comfort. The exterior of the house is clad in beautiful cedar wood and the interior is primarily natural materials. The interior combines classic Scandinavian design with custom-made joinery and a touch of retro style from the old 70s house.
All bedrooms have direct access to nature and the large surrounding terrace oases with both hot and cold outdoor showers.
The house is perfectly positioned on the plot, so you can always find shelter and follow the sun around the house throughout the day. Several terrace oases, two of which are covered, allow you to enjoy nature at your leisure. The sand dunes by the house are being recreated after the construction process.
The area offers many activities and nature experiences. Grab your bikes or hiking boots and head along the STI 100 or the beach to nearby seaside resorts such as Løkken or Blokhus. Visit Fårup Sommerland, Hune Funpark or Blokhus Badeland for fun family activities. For longer excursions, Skagen and Lønstrup are great destinations.

We love our sanctuary whether it's raining, drizzling, snowing or the sun shining from a cloudless sky. Here we follow the changing seasons with their own charm. The view with its special light over the dune landscape to the sea and the countless beautiful sunsets is amazing. In the evening and night hours, we find peace in the darkness, lit only by a sparkling starry sky to the sound of the sea. Unique and magical.
In a bathing poncho and with a towel over your neck, it's just a short stroll along the fine beach paths for a dip in the waves. SO BEAUTIFUL. An additional highlight is our beautiful wide Saltum Beach, which is relatively undisturbed by car traffic. Here we enjoy being at a distance from the more vibrant city life in the nearby beach resorts.
One of our great passions for many years has been hiking. We often do this both at home and abroad. So it's no coincidence that we have settled right HERE in the dunes of Little Norway. There are countless kilometers of beautiful and winding hiking and biking trails. We regularly explore them in either running, hiking or cycling shoes.
The feeling of magic strikes us every single time we arrive here at our forest sanctuary, where the hilly dune landscape opens up in a panorama down to the sea.

Super nice cottage where everything has been thought of. Good beds and furniture, proper curtains and duvets, and everything is great quality and nothing is missing in the house. Fantastic views of the North Sea and nature. This was one of the best cottages we have rented for many years.
