Magical thatched with vaulted ceilings in Thy

This beautiful thatched cottage is located in a secluded forest on a planted long field. Here, the dune landscape and the forest are your closest neighbors. The cottage was renovated and rebuilt 14 years ago and is now clad in black wood shingles and covered with thatch.

Inside, the house has been completely rebuilt with respect for the cottage's identity. All walls and doors are clad in Douglas wood, which gives the rooms a warm glow, natural color, and a Scandinavian feel. In the lovely living room, there is a fireplace under a beautifully arched ceiling, and there is an open connection to the bright and cozy kitchen. The living room has wireless internet and the option to connect your computer to the TV, so you can enjoy a windy evening with a good movie. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious dinner, which can be enjoyed at the beautiful dining table. On the ground floor, there are also two bedrooms with a total of three beds: one double and one single. All rooms on the ground floor have access to the lovely terraces.

On the first floor, there is an alcove under a dormer with another sleeping space. Opposite the sleeping alcove is a similar niche, which is locked and used as a private storage room.

If you need two double beds, this can be arranged directly with the host.

The cottage is surrounded on all sides by terraces with sheltering stone walls planted with vegetation.

In the middle of the property, under the tall birch and oak trees, there is a large fire pit, bordered by a windbreak and benches. The trees on the property have been pruned to allow for long views while still providing intimacy and protection.
