My name is Lene, and together with my husband Ole-Kristian, we have created our paradise, our cabin. It has been in the family since 2001. My husband is a craftsman, and together we have designed the cabin so that we get the most out of both indoor and outdoor life here. In winter, you can ski on the fantastic cross-country trails or, if you're more into speed, take a trip down the alpine slopes. Cocoa in the hot tub is a winner! What we appreciate most is the peace and quiet. On the private jetty, we can sit and listen to birds chirping and a good glass of wine or enjoy a swim in the calm water. There are also plenty of opportunities to kayak or take a long, leisurely swim. We have a 13-foot boat with a motor that you can rent. There are great fishing opportunities there, lots of trout. We also use the local golf course at Næs Jernverk, where my husband plays golf, while I enjoy the beautiful nature or pick blueberries, raspberries or cranberries. In Vegårshei, there are many nice hiking opportunities on the trails that run along the water and into the forests. It's also a popular place for cyclists.
