In my holiday home in Dronningmølle, I most of all enjoy being so close to the beautiful, clean Esrum River, hearing its ripples, seeing kingfishers flying close to the surface of the water and looking out at the protected nature as far as the eye can see. I also appreciate the beautiful sunsets over the fields and falling asleep in complete peace and quiet - no cars, just the sounds of nature and the owl singing. I also enjoy having guests over - the large kitchen and plank table invite more people to be together.
All year round, I love going down to the jetty, getting into a kayak or canoe, experiencing the beautiful nature and floating with the current for 15 minutes down the river where the river and the sea meet. Or going for walks by the sea a short distance from the house or at Tegner's Museum with its unique natural landscape and sculptures. Sometimes I enjoy the lovely café life that has developed in Dronningmølle, and other times I visit Gilleleje or Hornbæk's restaurants.
