On the covered terrace to the northeast, you can have breakfast in the warmth of the first rays of sunshine, while the beautiful wooden terrace to the southwest invites you to barbecue in the evening sun. My name is Jesper and this is a sanctuary for me and my family.

Here we can relax and take a little break from everyday life. Sometimes we gather with family and friends. Enjoy the good company, delicious food and the changing seasons. We enjoy the house all year round.

We have renovated the cottage to make it cozy and charming.

There are 3 bedrooms with 6(7) beds + Annex with 2 beds (please note that the annex is closed in winter). The house is best suited for 6(7) people in winter and 8(9) people in summer.

We have a new bathroom and kitchen, a new heat pump and wood-burning stove, and we have created several exits to the beautiful garden. We love the conservatory in spring and fall. The light is fantastic and we eat all our meals here whenever possible. In the summer, we enjoy both the covered terrace behind the house with morning sun and the south/west-facing wooden terrace with evening sun. The garden is completely green and enclosed, with hiding places and opportunities for sun/shade on all sides of the house. The cottage has a barbecue, fire pit, darts, badminton, table tennis and padel board.

When we are here, we also like to go for walks on the beach, on the moor at the end of the road or take a stroll past the pedestrian zone in Grenaa to experience city life. In the area there is of course the Kattegatcenteret, Ree Park and Djurs Sommerland. But you can also drive out to Fornæs Lighthouse or Katholm Manor. From Katholm Manor you can walk down to the beach if you are a bit adventurous. Remember to pack a packed lunch.

If you feel like it, you can walk along the beach to the harbor, where there are restaurants and music in the summer. The campsite is also close by, where you can find an ice cream parlor and mini golf.

The cottage lived up to expectations and was brilliantly decorated for a vacation with children. Everything was well maintained and beautiful. The outdoor areas were so beautiful and full of possibilities (in the summer). But a cottage that invites you to spend quality time with friends and family.
