Baby moon in a holiday home
Holiday homes perfect for your baby moon
62 m²
Surrounded by wonderful and diverse nature that has been shaped over millennia by massive ice masses, wind and weather, you'll find this beautiful holiday home. Here you live in a peaceful spot just a few hundred meters from the water, and you can wake up with nature to the sound of birds chirping, insects buzzing and the wind whispering in the trees. When you open the doors, you can smell the sea breeze from the Isefjord, the sun-warmed grass and the many flowers and plants in the garden.
The original atmosphere has been preserved in this lovely holiday home, where golden wood and a charming retro kitchen provide plenty of atmosphere. Large windows let light into the kitchen-dining room, where you can gather to cook with fresh, delicious ingredients, play games around the dining table and lounge on the sofas with a stack of comics and a jug of lemonade. Put a record on the gramophone and grab a seat on the daybed, where you'll have a front row seat to the nature outside and be lucky enough to see the deer, squirrels and pheasants that often stop by.
From the cottage, you are just a few minutes' walk from the beach and the clear waters of the Isefjord, where you can swim and frolic in the waves. On the west-facing terrace you can enjoy the last rays of the sun and the golden light in the evening. While the kids slide and swing under the treetops, you can fire up the barbecue and enjoy a slow glass of wine after a memorable day of salt water, fresh air and nature under the open sky.

We bought this lovely quiet spot in 2016 as we needed space for our adult children when they came home, as we live in the area and enjoy the peace and quiet of Nakkehage.
The subdivision itself is not very large, and most people who find their way here are either locals who want to enjoy the peace and nature, or anglers. Throughout the year, you can find yourself alone on the beach while walking or swimming.
In my family, the story goes that my great-great-grandparents dug peat and stones at Nakkehage, and you can still feel where they dug with shovel and wheelbarrow on the beach meadow.
The summer house was built in 1965 and is pretty much as it was then. We have put on a new roof and at the same time got a large skylight window with motor and automatic blind over the kitchen, which gives the most beautiful light to the living room and kitchen - and closes even when it rains.
It's mostly our children and grandchildren who use the cottage, so it's designed to accommodate children and dogs (but no other pets).
The area invites you to experience nature, peace and quiet. There are no shops nearby, it is 5 km to Rørvig and 6.5 km by bike/walking to Nykøbing via Hov Vig nature reserve. As soon as we drive out towards the tip of the Nakke Peninsula, we feel the calm settle as we can see the water on both sides.
There is an abundance of wildlife on the property, which is 100 meters from the water's edge. You can sit in the living room and watch squirrels, deer, pheasants and much more living their lives undisturbed just outside the windows and terrace. Part of the 2500 m2 plot is fenced off so that the wildlife is not disturbed by visiting dogs. The previous owners of the cottage were very keen on plants and wildlife, and have preserved a small grove of rare plants and insects of various kinds at the far end of the house.
For us, the cottage provides quality of life and the opportunity to spend time with family and friends. We love the beach at Nakkehage, where we swim and catch crabs from the jetty. The beach has been restored to make it beautiful and inviting with lots of flowers and abundant wildlife. We take walks in Hov Vig nature reserve with a bird tower and boathouse, in Nakke Forest and on the Isefjord Trail, which runs along the coast.
In Rørvig, there's crabbing for the kids and great places to eat.
We also love to visit the long white sandy beaches with dunes facing the Kattegat and Sejerø Bay and the dramatic cliffs at Klint.

A really cozy and warm cottage with everything you need (even if you have small children). Fantastic outdoor area with the possibility of playing, bonfires, bathing, cooking etc.
