The cabin is part of a reuse project and consists of two intimate buildings, tailored for a comfortable experience. It can accommodate up to five adult guests or four adults and two children, although additional beds are available. However, a maximum of five people is recommended for an optimal experience. One building has a bedroom for three people, while the annex can sleep a further three guests. The common areas are cozy and functional.
The private patio invites you to relax in nature, and the wood-fired sauna is secluded and overlooks the landscape. Here you can alternate between a warm sauna and a refreshing snow bath in winter.
Blefjell is a beautiful snow-covered mountain area just 1.5 hours from Oslo and one hour from Drammen. From the lodge you have direct access to Blefjell's best ski trails, and just a short ski ride away you'll find Solobua, which serves freshly baked buns at weekends. For more elaborate meals, Blefjell Lodge is a great hiking destination, either on skis or by car. In the summer you can explore great hikes to Koslinuten or Fagerfjell.

As an architect, I have had the pleasure of developing this unique project, where we have given new life to an exclusive mini cabin and an annex from Jæren. With minimal environmental impact, we have created an intimate and comfortable stay for our guests. The cabin has large windows and you are close to nature both summer and winter. Blefjell is only a short drive from Oslo and offers fantastic groomed trails and hiking trails. In summer, there is fishing and swimming nearby.
