We had a good time in the vacation home, but we did notice a few details that you should know about beforehand, given the high price:
The bathroom is small and basic, and the shower is a very simple plastic cubicle.
The kitchen is basic but adequately equipped, but there is no spatula, for example, and the cutlery seems to have been collected from various sources. There is no outdoor shower, which would be a nice addition. The location is very nice but right on a hiking trail and very close to the road. However, there is so little traffic on Anholt that it doesn't bother us. The house is not completely isolated. There were a lot of small ticks, but we don't know if they were in the house or just in the grass and forest.
The location is very nice, the house is tastefully furnished, and we felt comfortable. The price was too high.
