When it's time to retire, the bedroom is upstairs and features a 3-piece hatch that can be closed for peace and quiet or to keep out the heat from the wood-burning stove.

The cottage is located on the 2nd row to the water, but you get the glory of the 1st row in the form of full sea views. However, you can also enjoy the convenience of the 2nd row with a secluded and south-facing backyard. Here you can enjoy the sun and the soothing sound of the sea wherever you are on the property. Nordfyn is a scenic area filled with opportunities for hiking, both to the west towards Flyvesandet and to the east towards Kristiansminde. In the area you'll find small roadside stalls and farm shops. Stop by Poul Erik's Farm Shop in Jørgensø, Storms Fiskebil in Otterup for freshly caught fish, and Ostehuset in Otterup for delicious cheeses. Otterup also offers cozy shops for shopping and atmosphere.
