East Frisian nature escape - noble apartment in a seaside location
Jever
Holiday home
100 m²
Up to 4 guests
2 bedrooms
Behind the historic brick and the white muntin windows of the former forester's dwelling, this pretty apartment awaits you. In the East Frisian town of Friedeburg, surrounded by the Karl-Georgs-Forest and in direct proximity to the lake, you can let yourself be enchanted by selected design and a lot of coziness.
The apartment is located on the first floor of the forester's house, which was built in 1872 and includes other apartments. You have your own entrance to the house. You will be greeted by ceilings over 3.60 m high, historic-looking floor tiles and impressive design with motifs from flora and fauna.
Two bedrooms lead off from the hallway. The first, with its soft gray tones, immediately unfolds its calming effect and is furnished with a box spring double bed and sofa. The second room in earthy shades of green is furnished with two twin beds placed together and offers direct access to the terrace. The perfect place to watch the sunset.
In the living and dining area, also with terrace access, you can spend wonderful vacation hours with your loved ones - whether relaxing on the sofa (with sleep function) by the fireplace, game nights at the wooden dining table or cooking in the high-quality kitchen. Your temporary home is complemented by a modern daylight bathroom with two sinks, shower and bathtub.
Whether with friends or family, whether a trip to the nearby North Sea coast or a day at the lake: Here you can expect days of relaxation close to nature.

Highlights from Yvonne
Host since June 2023
- The noble design of the apartment with soft colors and nature-like design provides pure deceleration
- The open layout of the living area and the kitchen with a large dining table creates enough space for spending vacation together
- The private lake with sandy beach offers at any time the opportunity for a cool down or a quiet walk along the waterfront
I am Yvonne and the hostess in our beautiful forester's house, which is owned by the Count's family von Wedel. As a trained chef and business administrator for hotels and gastronomy, our guests are especially close to my heart. After working for over ten years in many places at home and abroad, I was drawn back home. I missed the North German mentality, the "Schnack", the food and the family. With the former forester's lodge and its six apartments, I am already very close to my dream of owning my own small hotel, as I accompanied and helped build it during the development process. I especially love the history that lives in the house, the forest and the lake on the doorstep, and the serenity that this place exudes.
