The cottage is built with nature in mind, and the large windows in the kitchen and living room provide natural light and a beautiful view. The calm colors of nature are also reflected in the interior with the large wooden tables and the wicker lamps and baskets as decoration. From the living room there is a ladder to the loft, where on clear evenings you can stargaze or watch the beautiful lights of Hejlsminde Harbor from the dormer window.

Near the cottage, there are plenty of opportunities for walks in the meadow and on the beach. Hejlsminde Harbour is only a few kilometers away, and here you can enjoy the harbor environment. The history of Denmark is also just a short trip away by car. The southern Jutland town of Christiansfeld is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll the cobblestone streets, take a look at the listed buildings or eat one of the original gingerbread cookies from the town.
