Traditional and charming Norwegian cabin in Eggedal

High above sea level (930 meters above sea level), among beautiful treetops, you will find this traditional Norwegian log cabin. The cabin is undisturbed at the end of a cul-de-sac, although there is a 180-degree view from the cabin. You'll also get the classic Norwegian cabin feel, as the cabin has no running water and you'll have the pleasure of experiencing life with an incinerating toilet. However, by filling the water tank, it is possible to have both hot and cold water in the kitchen and shower.

As you enter the cabin, the log walls, which give a warm, cozy feel to the cabin, may be the first thing that catches your eye. The design choices are traditional, with wooden furniture in colors from nature. Inside the cabin, the windows also provide a stunning view of Eggedal and a beautiful amount of light throughout the living room.

The cabin has a large terrace where you can barbecue and enjoy warm evenings outdoors in the summer. The area around the cabin also offers fantastic nature experiences all year round. In the summer, you can walk to Fiskeløysingen and Tempelseter, both of which have a cozy café you can visit. In Tempelseter there is also a small alpine slope, perfect for children. You can also take the drive to the ski resort at Norefjell for plenty of downhill runs and opportunities to feel a sense of mastery.
