Discover the authentic East Frisia: peace and individuality away from mass tourism. In the middle of the green inland, between the North Sea and the Dutch border, a listed building awaits you, which today houses two charming vacation apartments.
Welcome to the charming interplay of history and modernity! Behind the red bricks of this historic building, a harmonious fusion of old and new awaits you. This half of the house is located on the former stable side of the building. During the renovation, the main focus of Wiebke and Manfred was to preserve and emphasize the open feeling of space.
In this beautiful part of the house there is enough space for up to 5 people on a generous 100 m². On the first floor a bright bedroom with a comfortable double bed (180x200cm) awaits you. Another sleeping opportunity is hidden behind a charming white wooden door on the 1st floor: In a lovingly furnished little room, 2 people can comfortably sleep in a comfortable double bed (160x200cm). And if you need another sleeping option, the elegant recamiere can easily be transformed into a comfortable sofa bed.
Enjoy an exceptional living comfort in the spacious and open living, dining and cooking area, which opens upwards. Lying on the sofa you can enjoy the incomparable atmosphere created by the high ceiling and the preserved beams. In the colder seasons you can enjoy the cozy warmth of the underfloor heating and the fireplace. Sit back and relax inside the apartment and let your gaze wander outside through the windows.
The garden blooms in summer in its full splendor and offers a real treat for the senses. The terrace invites you to relax and take a deep breath at any time of the year.

Welcome to our home! We, Wiebke and Manfred, have been rooted in East Frisia for about 15 years and share a passion for historic buildings. Together with our three children we live in a former poorhouse, which we have lovingly restored. This vacation home has a long history: originally it was an East Frisian Gulfhof, later it was converted into a bakery. During the renovation we restored the original condition of 1803. Today the house houses two separate vacation apartments with unique charm.
