There are three of us in our summer house - my mother, father and myself. It means a lot to me that we have a place together where it's all about relaxation, presence and enjoying life. At the same time, it's important for me to create that environment with my parents - I think there's something very special about that.
We have carefully restored the house with an eye for the cottage atmosphere and the original house, so it is exactly as we wanted it. We're really happy with the pine floor, which we sanded and oiled with a blue oil that brings out the grain in the wood and gives the house something unique.
We love the Limfjord in its simplicity. There is nothing better than long walks along the water or in the nearby forest. There is also a golf course within walking distance from the house, where I like to spend an early morning every now and then. The harbor is especially nice on a good summer day, whether it's for an ice cream or just enjoying the summer life of the small town.
