There are three of us in our holiday home - my mom, dad and myself. It means a lot to me that together we have a place where we can relax, be present and enjoy life. At the same time, it's important for me to create that setting together with my parents - I think there's something very special about that.
We have carefully restored the house with an eye for the cottage atmosphere and the original house, so it's just as we wanted it. We're really happy with the pine floor, which we sanded and gave a blue oil that brings out the years in the wood and gives the house something unique.
We love the Limfjord in its simplicity. There's nothing better than long walks along the water or in the nearby forest. There is also a golf course within walking distance from the house, where I like to spend an early morning every now and then. The harbor is especially nice on a good summer day, whether it's for an ice cream or just to enjoy the small town's summer life.
