We are a family of two adults and three children. Our cabin is a year-round cabin that we call The Tent. Here we have lots of friends visiting and we make pizzas in the pizza oven, eat good food, go for nice walks in the local area in summer and winter, swim in the sea and relax in fantastic surroundings. There's nothing quite like coming here straight after work on a Friday, shopping for local produce and enjoying the peace and quiet of your own cabin with our personal touch. There is an exclusive standard in this well-equipped cabin, year-round jacuzzi and sauna. We want our guests to share the same pleasure as us.
It's only an hour's drive to the fantastic hike to Preikestolen. However, we recommend that you take the trip to Randåsen, the highest point on Randøy, which is 373 meters above sea level. There are fantastic views of Ryfylke. In the village of Hjelmeland you'll find a football pitch, shops, restaurants, a gallery, a farm shop selling fruit and berries, Ryfylke gardsysteri and two world-class cideries in addition to the many hiking opportunities. Head to Ryfylkeheiene for some fantastic hikes for both beginners and advanced hikers both summer and winter. It's about an hour's drive to Gullingen alpine center where there are good conditions for cross-country skiing and slalom.
