It was a bit of a bargain when we first saw this high-altitude cottage in 2021, but we fell in love with the fantastic, lush surroundings, the view from the living room, which gives an almost floating feeling, and the large hilly nature plot. Since then, we've spent many weekends and vacations transforming a dilapidated yellow brick house into the cottage we have today, which for us is a bit of a gem, both inside and out.
We are a family of five who love coming here and find that nature and its tranquility move right into the living room due to the large panoramic windows. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of opportunities for cozy trips to charming harbor towns such as Liseleje, Kikhavn, Hundested and Lynæs, as well as just relaxing indoors with a wood-burning stove, books and family games, or in the garden with badminton, table tennis and king games.
