We are an active family of five, consisting of Kathrine and Christian and our three children, Christel, Henric and Jacob. Kathrine and I are both former top athletes (beach volleyball and ice hockey), and all our children are active in ice hockey and soccer. Our days are filled with work and training, so it's great to be able to relax and unwind at the cabin. We have drawn and designed everything in the cabin ourselves and are very proud of the result.
In winter, we're in the cabin as often as we can, and we love skiing - both downhill and cross-country. Once the snow has fallen and the ski season is underway, you can put your skis on outside on the terrace and head straight out onto the slopes. In summer, we like to swim in the rivers or take advantage of the many unique hiking opportunities in the area. Some of our personal favorites include Hilleknuten and Grubba. In addition, the cabin is an ideal starting point for hikes to Kjerag, the highest mountain on the Lysefjord.
