In the middle of the forest, which belongs to Hulbæk Møllegård, lies Kajs Hytte. The cabin is surrounded by the forest with marshes, lakes and ponds and it gives the feeling of total undisturbed and peace.
The cottage is perfect for those who enjoy the freedom, nature and the self-chosen primitive holiday. It is furnished with a dining area for six people, and although the small kitchen is sparsely furnished, you can cook delicious meals on the portable hob or on the barbecue outside. The water in the cottage is non-drinking, and instead drinking water is supplied in cans to the house. Inside, there is a loft with space for two mattresses and in the living room there is a sofa bed that folds out into a double bed from which you can enjoy the view of the forest through the patio doors.
Kajs Hytte is located in the middle of a fantastic hunting area with mixed woods and fields. The Karup River runs through here and is known for its unique sea trout fishing.

Our small cabin is located in the middle of our own hunting area and all the forest around the cabin is ours. Here we arrange both fishing trips in Karup Å and you can come hunting in the large areas. During the hunting season, however, you cannot use the cottage. We love to spend our time there in the midst of nature, become one with it and just be. We live in Aarhus ourselves, and although the city life is great, it gives us something completely different to get out into the fresh forest air.
