On the beautiful east coast of Falster, this architect-designed, thatched cottage is a beautiful extension of the scenic surroundings with its elegant sand color. The house is located undisturbed at the end of a gravel road in rural surroundings. Here there is room for the extended family or friends to find peace and quiet surrounded by the green expanse.
When you step inside, you are greeted by open spaces, where there is plenty of air and space, while the mullioned windows provide a soft and nostalgic light throughout the house. The decor is kept in a country style with retro, rustic and patinated furniture that creates warmth and soul. Light up one of the two large fireplaces and enjoy a quiet moment with a book in the armchair, or let the playful ones unfold in the fine activity room with table tennis, billiards and table football.
Outside you will find two lovely terraces. On one you can enjoy the morning sun, while on the other you have a clear view of the fiery sunsets. Find space for a garden game on the large lawn, or gather around the long table for a barbecue with the whole family, while the beautiful sea view lets the calm settle over you. From the house it is not far to the beautiful and peaceful natural beach, Ulslev Strand, where you can fish for trout and almost feel like you have it all to yourself.

Let the extended family unfold in the spacious house with activity room
We are Ulrikke and Gustav and have owned this lovely cottage for over 20 years. At that time we had bought a disused farm, which in 2011 we got permission to demolish and rebuild with attention to all the details from the original main house. With the help of an architect, we designed a house with a thatched roof and mullioned windows, which fulfills all our wishes for a lovely, spacious and bright cottage. We love the location in the protected area overlooking the Baltic Sea.
When we are here, we like to go for walks and swim at the beach and also enjoy the good cycling routes right outside the door. In the spring, when the skylark trills, it's great to walk along the newly sown fields. In the summer season, we like to drive to the campsite just north of the cottage and buy freshly baked breakfast bread. If we feel like eating out, we like to go to the café at Hesnæs Harbor or visit restaurant Pomlenakke, which is located in the middle of the beech forest and has the most beautiful sea view.
