We highly recommend this well-appointed house in Øybekklia near Skåbu. The house is located in quiet and peaceful surroundings with a unique view of forests and mountains. There is easy access to countless hiking trails with varying terrain and difficulty levels. The house is cozy, clean, and optimally furnished with everything you need. It is a really pleasant place to stay and recharge your batteries after a long hike. We enjoyed every moment in the house and hope to return soon.

It is a very beautiful vacation home: tastefully and high-quality furnished, well-maintained, and perfectly located on the water with a unique view of the Storebelt Bridge. We felt very comfortable with six people, and Claus is a perfect and friendly host. There's really not much we could ask for in this house. For a longer stay, access to a washing machine and laundry service would be nice.

The cottage is bright, modern, and well-appointed. If I may make a request, I would appreciate a filter coffee machine. Better sofa/armchairs, as there is only room for 5 and there were 7 of us. We think an outdoor canopy by the entrance would be nice. The acoustics are terrible, so a rug by the coffee table and a few more pictures/things that can absorb some of the sound when you talk would be good.

We spent a relaxed and cozy week in the vacation home. The house has a superbly equipped kitchen with innovative appliances; nothing was missing. The renovated bathroom and bedrooms also made our stay something very special. The house is very well maintained and clean, and the short walk to the beach via the private path is a real highlight. We will definitely be back.
