We loved the country house from the moment we arrived! The location offers exactly the peace and relaxation you want for a short break. The surroundings exude a wonderful rural idyll that is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The vacation home itself is an absolute gem. The loving and high-quality furnishings give the house a very special, authentic charm that immediately creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. You can see in every detail that it has been furnished with a lot of passion and taste. The quality of the furnishings is first-class throughout. We were particularly impressed by the attention of our host: when we arrived, all the fireplaces were already lit and the lamps were on – this immediately created an incredibly welcoming atmosphere. These small but important details show how much the host cares about the well-being of his guests. The two nights passed far too quickly, and we enjoyed every minute in this beautiful setting. The late check-out and the opportunity to taste the farm's own beer rounded off a perfect stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful surroundings, on top of a mountain. Lots of great hiking opportunities right from the cottage. The cottage actually belongs to a hotel, which means you can also use the hotel facilities. Having breakfast at the hotel was especially nice. The sauna in the cottage was also really nice, and the cottage was spotless.

How can you best describe such a beautiful place? I would try "place of longing." We were there in November and were able to enjoy the sensational view from the floor-to-ceiling windows by the crackling fireplace every second. The simple, modern furnishings and the very well-equipped kitchen rounded off our stay. After the great hikes that start just a few hundred meters from the house, you can relax and recharge your batteries under the rainwater shower. We were even able to use the great terrace. In summer, this must also be a great experience. Despite the tranquility, there are supermarkets and bakeries just 8 km away. Another beautiful hike was to Siggjo, which is perched at the beginning of the island, a good 20 minutes away, and offers a fantastic view. We would have liked to stay longer because the cozy cabin and the great locations have so much to offer. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

The stay was very satisfying, and the cabin is a place we would gladly choose again. The living room was very cozy and well suited for enjoyable game nights, and the view was both beautiful and relaxing. The surrounding area offered many opportunities to explore nature. Since there was still little snow, we chose the hiking trails at Fageråsen. There we found several beautiful routes and lots of beautiful nature. All in all, a very good stay that comes highly recommended!
