For us, the winter house was the most wonderful setting we could have wished for, given the reason we had come to Blefjell. The house has the warmth needed to make you feel at home right away. It has enough space for everyone to gather, and there is also the option of sitting quietly by yourself in the beautiful new living room with huge windows offering breathtaking mountain views, and a few logs in the wood-burning stove. The house has an outdoor area where you can build a snow hut, enjoy a campfire in the midday sun, and make hills for both sledding and telemark skiing. The house is beautifully situated high up in the mountains, with direct access to both groomed cross-country trails and deep snow for downhill skiing.

If you prefer a more classic and cozy cabin, then this cabin is really good. The location is excellent with lots of sun, fantastic views, and cross-country skiing (we borrowed equipment during the winter break) right outside.

Beautiful location, and the price matched the conditions: no electricity or water. The cabin was -10 degrees Celsius in the morning before we arrived, but Bente had heated it up to 16 degrees by the time we got there, and it was 24 degrees at bedtime.

Beautiful place with stunning views. We went there during winter and were greeted by a frozen fjord in front of our living room window. The place was super clean and very comfertable including everything you would want for a getaway.

Lovely cabin with a fantastic view of the valley. It had everything we needed, comfortable beds, clean and cozy with plenty of space for a family of five. A nice and cozy cabin. We were there in week 7 and had a wonderful skiing holiday in Rauland. Easy ski-out, a little harder to find our way home due to a lack of signage in the area, but we managed it in the end. However, we chose to drive to the parking lot at either Tiur or Holtardalen instead. Both parking lots are right next to restaurants, children's slopes, and ski lifts, so it's really easy. Shopping was easy, about 10 minutes from the cabin you can shop in Rauland.
