Ål Hytta is beautifully situated on a hillside overlooking Reineskarvet and the plateau below. The designer hytta is wonderfully and functionally designed and has been furnished with great individuality and care by the owner, Annette. From Torpo, located in the Hallingdal valley, it is about 6 km on a private mountain road to the holiday home complex.

It was a super cozy cottage where you could relax in front of the wood-burning stove or look out over the water, take a nice walk across Dalby Bay at low tide. The only downside was that there weren't enough kitchen utensils and pots and pans.

The vacation home exceeded our expectations. First of all, it is perfectly located, surrounded by beautiful nature, right on a lake with a view of the village of Vrådal. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. Stove, sauna, washing machine... everything is top-notch. But what really makes this a "5-star*" experience is the warm, personal welcome from the owners. In addition to the Christmas decorations in and around the vacation home, we were greeted with a warm fire in the fireplace when we arrived at around 9:15 p.m. This extra touch is by no means a given and completely delighted our travel group. A nice house in a really great location! The bedrooms are very small and the double bed is extremely narrow. The bathroom is quite basic. The living room and kitchen are very nice with a great view over the valley at sunset.

Really nice house that lives up to the pictures and expectations. The house has all the facilities and equipment you need. Great for families with children, with all the children's things and lots of toys you might need. Good beds and rooms and a truly fantastic view of the valley and mountains! Good help and quick communication from the landlord.

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, the snow, the cold, and the beautiful winter atmosphere. The house is furnished with such love and is so well equipped that we felt at home from the moment we arrived. Perfect family getaway—spotless home, wonderful host, unbeatable location We had an excellent stay here as a family. The vacation home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, in a quiet and idyllic natural setting. The vacation home is equipped with everything you need, even various spices, oils, and baking ingredients are provided. During our stay (early 2026), the decor was Christmassy and very cozy, as well as lovingly designed.
