It was simply wonderful! Harold and his wife have created a truly magical place here, with great attention to detail and respect for the history of the house. They have managed to give the building, which dates back to 1683, a modern touch without losing any of its original charm. The garden is like a little paradise – perfect for anyone looking for peace, nature, and seclusion. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! For the sake of completeness, we would like to mention that during our stay, construction work was taking place on the neighboring house, which could not be rescheduled. This caused some noise on occasion. However, Harold and his wife insisted on compensating us for this – incredibly friendly and attentive. Thank you very much for the wonderful time we enjoyed with you!

The hosts are very nice, the house is in a beautiful location, simple but functional, and has its own style, which we liked. Sampieri by the sea is wonderful and there are many beautiful Baroque towns in the surrounding area

Wir durften im Oktober zwei wunderbare Wochen in dieser traumhaften Villa verbringen – ein Urlaub, der uns als Familie rundum begeistert hat. Das Haus liegt wunderschön eingebettet in der toskanischen Hügellandschaft, ruhig und abgeschieden, mit einem herrlichen Blick über Olivenhaine und Felder. Jeden Morgen beim Kaffee auf der Terrasse diesen Ausblick zu genießen, war einfach ein Geschenk. Der Empfang durch Philippe und Muriel war außergewöhnlich herzlich. Schon beim Ankommen spürte man, mit wie viel Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit die beiden ihre Gäste empfangen. Nach einer ausführlichen Hausführung bekamen wir viele hilfreiche Informationen zu Ausflügen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Besonders aufmerksam: Am ersten Abend war bereits ein Essen vorbereitet, und der Kühlschrank gefüllt – so konnten wir völlig entspannt ankommen und den Urlaub gleich genießen. Die Villa selbst ist modern, komfortabel und perfekt ausgestattet – ideal für unsere vierköpfige Familie. Der beheizte Pool war auch im Oktober noch wunderbar nutzbar und bot eine herrliche Erfrischung. Ein echtes Highlight war die Führung durch Philippes und Muriels Olivenhaine und die Ölmühle. Wir durften viel über den Anbau und die Ernte erfahren, und unsere Kinder konnten sogar selbst bei der Olivenernte mithelfen. Das von Philippe und Muriel hergestellte Olivenöl ist einfach köstlich – kein Wunder, dass es mehrfach prämiert wurde. Wir haben uns in jeder Hinsicht rundum wohl gefühlt – die Herzlichkeit, die Ruhe, die Landschaft, das Haus – alles hat gestimmt. Philippe und Muriel sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die mit großer Freude und Leidenschaft dafür sorgen, dass man sich willkommen fühlt. Unser Fazit: Ein traumhafter Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen – mit ganz viel Herz geführt. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of Italy. Our hosts Marco and Angela were absolutely great, providing us with a lot of good information beforehand but were also always available during our stay for any questions or extra information. The house and the garden are wonderful and the sunsets beautiful. We would highly recommend this lovely place and hope to be back soon!
