Holiday homes for fishing enthusiasts in Sweden

We had a wonderful week in the middle of the Swedish wilderness. The house can be reached after a 10-minute drive along gravel roads, deeper and deeper into the forest. But you are completely alone there and the surroundings are beautiful. Wonderful! The vacation home is very comfortably furnished and equipped with the essentials. However, you have to be prepared for the fact that there is no running water here. You can filter lake water for drinking, washing up, etc. The toilet is an outhouse. A headlamp for nighttime trips to the toilet is a must-have in your luggage ;) Electricity is provided by a small solar panel. The battery lasted us even during continuous drizzly weather. However, for energy-intensive appliances such as the coffee machine or the submersible pump for the pool, you will need to switch on a gasoline-powered generator from time to time. We only used the fireplace for heating and were provided with more than enough firewood. Gas and diesel heating would also have been available. If you are looking for peace and seclusion and can do without a few luxuries, this is the place for you. It was perfect for us!

Very cozy, spacious house. Quiet and idyllic location by the water. Beautiful view of nature. In addition, there is an extra, fully furnished house available on the property. We stayed there with 8 adults and 3 children.

The holiday home was lovely, well built and beautiful design. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the view, and waking up to a view in the trees. During the day we had a lot of fun with the kayaks and enjoyed relaxing in the floating sauna.

Our stay at Anne and Frode’s cabin was truly a dream! They are such warm and welcoming hosts, greeting us with flowers and champagne to celebrate our honeymoon. The cabin is every bit as beautiful as in the photos — nestled in the forest, with breathtaking views from every room. It offers everything you could need: a well-equipped kitchen, a kayak and boat for exploring the fjord, and an annex house with a second bedroom and a relaxing sauna. We absolutely loved our time there and can’t wait to come back!

A truly lovely and beautiful place. Fantastic view. Great location. Really nice house with all necessary amenities and more. We used the lake a lot, sailed, used the paddleboard, fished, and just enjoyed the view and the peace and quiet. There was everything we needed in the house, such as tea towels, coffee, towels, hand soap, plastic bags, and so on.
