My name is Martje and together with my husband Olaf I live in North Friesland. When an old workers' cottage in our neighborhood came up for sale 10 years ago, we decided to renovate it. Sustainability and the use of high-quality materials were particularly important to us, with the aim of bringing out the original character of the two halves of the house. Over the years, we collected furnishings with character and renovated the house with a lot of love and passion. Today, our thatched house with its two halves has become a very special gem for large and small travel groups. We love the spaciousness and tranquillity of the area. We try to spend as much time as possible in the magical landscape - on balmy summer nights with the chance of seeing the sea light up.
