My name is Hilde, and I own this apartment with my husband. We love Hafjell, and a lot has happened in the area since we bought our first cabin here, especially when it comes to infrastructure for cross-country and downhill skiing. We have therefore got several new apartments here so that there is room for everyone. We have 6 children and are often in Hafjell together. We love the area and have been at Mosetertoppen since they started developing and investing in this area.
My favorite thing is cross-country skiing and I always go to Pellestova when I'm at the cabin. Every day. Pellestova is a large, serviced cabin located in the middle of Øyerfjellet and is a hub in the cross-country skiing network. In December and January, we take a headlamp with us and walk the ski slopes in the dark. It's absolutely magical.
We like to be active all day, and a good idea is to be on the slalom all day and then go to the apartment to eat and/or change into cross-country clothing and then take the lift to the top of the mountain before the lifts close (with cross-country skis). This saves you a lot of uphills and allows you to cross-country ski for longer. There are gentle or steep downhill slopes with cross-country tracks all the way home from Pellestova.
