We have designed and built our lovely cottage ourselves, which has many custom-built details. We lived in Copenhagen when we bought it five years ago, but now we have taken the plunge and moved to the island. Ruben himself is originally from Bornholm, is a passionate surfer and skater and loves to build and draw things.
We love the cottage's fantastic location on a rocky plot with sea views and a wild garden. Here we enjoy time on the terrace, barbecuing or relaxing in the hot tub. Near the cottage is the beautiful beach Næs, where both adults and very young children can enjoy swimming, climbing rocks and going for beautiful walks. Allinge is a lovely harbor town, where there are good shopping opportunities, good restaurants nearby and Bornholm's probably the coziest venue "Gæstgiveren". The area is rocky, quiet and hilly - so you can get your heart rate up when moving around. There are some wonderful running routes along the cliffs and some challenging cycling routes for everyone in the family.
