We designed and built our lovely cottage ourselves, which has many custom-built details. We lived in Copenhagen when we bought it five years ago, but now we've taken the plunge and moved to the island. Ruben is originally from Bornholm, is a passionate surfer and skater and loves to build and draw things.
We love the cottage's fantastic location on a rocky plot with sea views and a wild garden. Here we enjoy time on the terrace, grilling or relaxing in the hot tub. Near the cottage is the beautiful Næs beach, where both adults and young children can enjoy swimming, rock climbing and beautiful walks. Allinge is a lovely harbor town with plenty of shopping, good restaurants nearby and Bornholm's coziest venue "Gæstgiveren". The area is rocky, calm and hilly - so you can get your heart rate up as you move around. There are some great running routes along the cliffs and some challenging cycling routes for everyone in the family.

The cottage is perfectly located in relation to Næs beach and very private on wild natural grounds; also within walking distance to the city. The house is simply furnished and works really well, however, there may be a queue at the bathroom when there are only 1 to 5-6 people
