We are Tove and Erik, and since we designed and built our holiday home more than twenty years ago, we have used it at all times of the year. We love the special architecture of the house and the good visual contact with the surroundings. We have always enjoyed the silence and harmony that the location at the end of a small cul-de-sac offers. Here, next to the forest and overlooking the fields, we find a special peace.
It has been a tradition that every summer we take the ferry for day trips to Tunø and Samsø. We also always take walks along the beach, heading towards Saxild and Rude Strand to the north and Hou to the south. The beach is wonderfully undisturbed and we enjoy staying and swimming here. Sondrup Bakker with its beautiful woodlands and views of Horsens Fjord is always worth a visit. We have also often taken the opportunity to visit the cozy restaurants in Bjerager, Hou and Norsminde. The house is also suitable for winter living, and there is a large work table in one of the rooms.
There are three bedrooms in the house and a large loft. However, although there are six to seven beds, for the convenience of our guests, we have indicated that the house is only suitable for five people, as there is only one toilet and one bathroom (separate from each other).
