The house is tastefully and harmoniously decorated with great care. The colors, for example, are repeated throughout the house. We really liked it. I found the house and the neighborhood to be a soothing oasis that radiates peace and tranquility. To me, there was also something enchanting about Volvensvej. Walking through the dunes and catching my first glimpse of the Baltic Sea—that’s when my heart really opened up. And during our trip in mid- to late August, it was wonderfully quiet and there was really very little going on at the beach. We really liked the harbor in Aalbek. Otherwise, we were often drawn to Kandestederne. Wow! The North Sea. Being able to drive to either the Baltic Sea or the North Sea whenever we wanted was also a highlight.

We (a couple with a dog) spent a week that was far too short in Sanne’s beautiful vacation home. The location and the view are one-of-a-kind—we’re going to miss it so much!!! Everything was perfect, and the weather was great, too—we felt very comfortable there. Another plus for dog owners is the fenced-in yard; in our experience, that’s not necessarily common in Denmark. We’d love to come back!

Everything was truly beautiful; the raised platform is great for stargazing and enjoying morning coffee. I think the cottage is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Everything is in top condition and well laid out. We really enjoyed using the reading nook. The surroundings are hard to beat. Anyone who loves nature will adore it. We were visited by a pheasant, a hare, and even some deer made an appearance at dawn. The beach is about a 20-minute walk across the dunes. The hike there, through a horse pasture, is truly spectacular. All in all, I highly recommend it.

A small, cozy vacation home right on the beach. We were unlucky that it rained a lot, but we enjoyed every minute—walking on the beach when the sun was out, or biking through the surrounding area. The rest of the time, we spent reading and relaxing by the window.

The vacation home is very cozy and nicely decorated. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The kids were thrilled when they discovered the toys. The house is in a very quiet location next to a few other vacation homes, but the view of the unobstructed sunset is especially enjoyable from the living/dining room and the garden. The beach is very close and easily accessible via a small path through the Landal resort.
