The vacation home is just amazing! It’s in a very quiet location at the end of a side street on a large, well-maintained lot within a gated community. The path to the Baltic Sea runs through the property, past the barrel sauna and a small seating area, and finally along a little trail between wild roses and trees🤗… and there’s the beach and the sea—it’s wonderful. Our grandchildren, ages 3 and 6, would sometimes walk the short distance on their own to use the restroom or grab a snack—it was totally relaxed and lovely. The beach was never crowded; we always had plenty of space. The water is clean and slopes gently for a long way out—perfect for kids. The vacation home is very modern and stylishly furnished. There’s a great view through the large dining room windows out onto the garden and the Baltic Sea—very relaxing. There are two bathrooms, a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, and a utility room with a washer, dryer, laundry detergent, and vacuum cleaner… A large patio with a big table, chairs, a parasol, a seating area, lounge chairs, and a grill; a huge trampoline; an outdoor shower; and another small patio behind the house with a garden hose, a pizza oven, and seating—though we didn’t use that one. There are three sleeping areas in the house: a very nice room with a view of the garden and the water through floor-to-ceiling windows, a smaller room, and a tiny room. There were six adults and two children in our group. The house is perfect for four adults and two or three children—in that case, the kids could use the tiny room, though there’s no room to move around in it and almost no storage space or closets. There’s also a small cozy nook in the living room that’s very cute; one of the kids’ parents slept there—it works, but it’s uncomfortable for longer stays. There’s plenty of parking at the house, including spots with electric charging stations; everything was great. There are also bicycles, though we didn’t use them either. Communication with our hosts went very smoothly. Anders was always approachable, helpful, friendly, and responded quickly to any questions or issues. We had a wonderful week there as a family; the property, the great location, and the beautiful house made us feel completely at home. We highly recommend it!!!

The house is exceptionally cozy, the kitchen is very well-equipped, and the large property with a view of the sea is simply a dream. We especially enjoyed the spectacular sunsets. We were happy to overlook minor drawbacks such as limited hot water in the shower (30-liter tank), a single bed in one of the rooms that was actually quite uncomfortable (90 cm wide), and the lack of closets (which was a bit annoying at first, but the many hooks ended up being enough). The day trips to Aarhus, Ebeltoft, or the nature reserve were wonderful (all within 30 to 50 minutes’ reach). We highly recommend this accommodation.

We spent a wonderful week at Torunn and Dimitri’s beautiful and lovingly furnished home and felt very comfortable there. Both the communication leading up to our stay and the welcome we received were excellent and warm. The house was exactly as described and very clean. The surrounding area offers plenty of recreational activities, such as hiking, canoeing, and biking. We’d love to come back.
