In the southern part of the island of Rügen, very close to the Hanseatic city of Stralsund, stands the historic manor house from the 16th century, which has been run by the Wellenberg family for over 20 years. After the house was completely left to decay in the last century, the family lovingly rebuilt it in cooperation with the monument protection authorities and created a place that attracts nature lovers and people seeking peace and quiet from all over Germany.
There are a total of 7 vacation apartments on the upper floors of the mansion, as well as various rooms on the first floor that can be rented for both meetings and parties.
This beautiful vacation apartment is located on the second floor on the right side of the house and is ideal for smaller groups or families with a small child. Here you will find two bedrooms with double bed and two separate luxurious bathrooms.
The spacious living room with comfortable sitting area and pull-out sofa (which, when pulled out, provides an extra sleeping space), opens to the kitchen with kitchenette and a large dining table. There is everything here that you could wish for during a longer stay, plus the large windows offer an unobstructed view of the seemingly boundless natural landscape that surrounds the house on all sides. In the garden there is a sun terrace and also the park in which the mansion stands is a truly unique place with its proximity to the water on all four sides and the old trees.

We are Pete and Astrid. Together with our four adult children, we have been running this beautiful manor house on the island of Rügen for 20 years. The listed house, which dates back to the 16th century, fell into complete disrepair in the 1960s until we finally took it over in 1998. In the following years, the historic manor house was then built and renovated by us with the support of the Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments and has been completely finished since 2018. The estate park that surrounds the house is also a listed building and belongs to the house with its fruit trees, some of which are hundreds of years old, and the adjacent water landscape. Our family has created with much effort and love a place for people who appreciate space and nature and we are very happy to welcome guests.
